Starter package contents

When you build an industrial hall with our starter package, you will receive a completely galvanized steel construction . You can choose to receive the steel frame in elements or in stick form (loose profiles). In addition to the roof and wall cladding, you also receive the necessary flashing and steel gutters. The construction process

Building the steel frame

The first phase of the construction process is clearing the construction site so that you have space to prepare the steel profiles. We recommend that you prepare the elements per facade so that you can get started quickly.

The next step is to mount the front facade to the side wall. Once the front facade is in place, you can continue metal building with the subsequent side wall elements. After this you can assemble the roof elements. Please note that you mount the first elements perpendicular to the front frame. After the wall plates and the necessary flashing have been mounted, the roof panels can be placed one by one. Finally, the gutters must be mounted on both south sides of the shed.

The shed types and uses can be as diverse as the requirements for metal buildings one. Therefore, in order to begin the task of metal building a shed, you must have a clear vision of what is it that you are looking for and the purpose it will serve. There are certain other considerations before you start with the actual floor design. These factors are; the permission or approval for metal building one from the local government or council. This will ensure a strong interlocking of the segments, creating a durable foundation. A landscaping fabric can be used to act as a barrier between stones and the soil. This will prevent gradual sinking of the stones, over a period of time, so that the foundation remains intact.

Waterproofing should also be one of the main concerns throughout the construction of a shed floor, since wood floors can be damaged as a result of prolonged contact with water. The fabric used also ensures that the water drains quickly from the surface.

The stone layer must be leveled by using a vibrating plate or a hand damper. The level needs to be smoothed out and to ensure a uniform level, you can even remove or add stones. Vacuum pressure-impregnated wood, which is more resistant to moisture, together with a treatment of weed barrier and stones make for an excellent traditional base. There should be some space for ventilation and the wood installation should be perpendicular to the joists. Remember, any precautionary measures taken to extend the life of the wood will provide a lasting storage foundation guarantee.

Alternatively, a plastic shed base can be used to construct a shed foundation that is more durable, lightweight and can even be recycled. There are a few simple adjustments in the installation of the plastic base, but if you’d like some really good foundation for your shed, it’s definitely a better option.
